95% of online players losers?

While see an online poker forum today, I come across a quote that say 95% of online players are losers overall. Can this be true? There are some people have relied in the forum. Some people think that is not 95%, although they know that most of people are losers in the long run playing online, 95% is too much. Some people consider that 95% was true in several years ago and there are many articles we read said it, like nearly 5 years ago. There are some people who believe it is correct, because his friends like playing poker most of time are losing, when they are playing poker, they play just for excitement, and never to study the knowledge and skill, just to play.

Different people have different opinion in this question. In my opinion, I feel the people who play poker online losing is always more than ninety percent. Although there is not increasing, the loser still are most players. So I want to ask a question why so many people losing in online poker games? I know that the winning odds are not in favor of the players, but I don’t understand why so many people losing, which is more than my prediction. I want to say whether there are some tricks in online poker games, such as the realize poker game cheating, using the high-tech cheating devices in playing games, for example marked cards, IR contact lenses, or marked cards sunglasses and so on. But I have no any evidence to prove that there exist tricks.
